How to make payment for Old Navy credit card online

Making payments online for your store credit cards is easier than ever. Most people do online banking and bill paying so you can count on most credit card companies having online payment options. If you need to know how to make payment for Old Navy credit card online, the steps are easy and you should have no problem getting this done.

The first thing you will need to do is make sure you have everything you need to pay your bill online.

Gather the following:
• Your paper bill if you have it (some people get electronic only bills)
• Your account number
• Login information to the Old Navy site
• Your payment information (checkbook or other payment information, including routing and account numbers)

Once you are logged in, click on the Manage my Account link so you can get to the payment options page. On that page you will find the Make a Payment link. Click that link and you will be taken to the page where you can choose the amount of your payment.

Your choices will be:
• Minimum amount due
• Full balance
• Other payment amount

Making Your Credit Card Payment Online

Choose the one you want and click the circle or box next to the one you have chosen. If at all possible, paying the full balance or more than the minimum amount due helps you to bring down your amount owed faster and saves you money on interest payments, which can be quite high with credit cards.

After you choose your amount, select the payment date and then it’s time to input your payment information. If you are paying with a bank account, you will need to enter your bank account routing and account numbers. If you’re paying with a debit card, you will enter your 16 digit number on the front of your card, along with the expiration date and the 3 digit code on the back of your card. Those same steps apply if you are paying your bill with another credit card.

Once the information is typed in, click on the Continue link and you will go to the confirmation page where you can make sure all the information typed in is correct. One you have verified everything, you can click Submit and your payment will be processed.

It’s important not to click the submit button more than once, nor should you hit the back button on a payment page unless you have been instructed to. The only reason you would be asked to do this, is if information is not typed in correctly or something was left out.

Once your payment has processed, (and this can take a few minutes) you will have a confirmation of payment and depending on the company, you will possibly get an email verification as well. These email verifications are good to keep for your records, so you can make a separate file and keep them all in there for your records.
